Primary Responsibilities :

Job Title: Business Development Associate

Location: Kampala, Uganda
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Business Development role
Education Qualification: BSc or B.Tech & MBA in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
Cost to Company: 15 Lacs Net in Hand
Leave Policy: 1-month leave per year, every two years, sponsored air ticket from India to Uganda

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

Lead Generation and Follow-up:

  • Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and online platforms.
  • Qualify and prioritize leads based on the company's target criteria.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
  • Maintain records of business development activities and pipelines.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's business development strategy.
  • Provide input on product/service enhancements based on market feedback.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate regularly with internal teams to share feedback.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and progress towards targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events to promote offerings and establish new connections.
Experience Requirements:

Technical:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
