Primary Responsibilities :
1. Project Execution
- Execute and supervise Railway General Electrical projects.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities as per approved schedules.
- Monitor site execution and maintain quality standards.
2. Installation & Commissioning
- Handle installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with Railway electrical specifications and standards.
- Resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
3. Planning & Coordination
- Plan daily and weekly project activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
4. BOQ & Documentation
- Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, work schedules, and project documentation.
- Maintain Measurement Books (MB), billing documents, and client approvals.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
5. Material & Resource Management
- Plan and monitor material requirements.
- Conduct material inspection and reconciliation.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
6. Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Railway safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and maintain project quality documentation.
- Implement corrective actions wherever required.
7. Client & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with Railway authorities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Attend project review meetings.
- Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders.
8. Team Management
- Supervise site engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Allocate work and monitor productivity.
- Guide junior engineers and resolve technical challenges.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 2–10 years of experience in Railway General Electrical projects.
