Primary Responsibilities :
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Generate new leads through market visits, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
- Build a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Expand the customer base by acquiring new OEMs, Panel Builders, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable electrical solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service before and after sales.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Consultant & OEM Coordination
- Develop strong relationships with electrical consultants, project consultants, and design consultants.
- Coordinate with consultants to generate business opportunities and secure project approvals.
- Work closely with OEMs and Local Panel Builders for project execution and business expansion.
4. Product Sales
- Promote and sell:
- Switchboards
- LV Switchboards
- Electrical Distribution Panels
- Electrical Control Panels
- Related Electrical Products
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Explain product features, technical specifications, and commercial benefits.
5. Sales Planning & Execution
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into orders.
- Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets.
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging customer requirements.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
7. Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales reports and customer visit reports.
- Update CRM with customer interactions and sales activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business development reports.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in field sales within the electrical industry.
- Experience in selling:
- Switchboards
- LV Switchboards
- Electrical Distribution Panels
- Electrical Control Panels
- Allied Electrical Products
