Primary Responsibilities :

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across fabricators, contractors, industrial plants, EPC companies, and project-based organizations.
  • Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research activities.
  • Expand the customer base within Gujarat and surrounding industrial regions.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Field Sales & Customer Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular client visits to understand customer requirements and strengthen business relationships.
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and pending orders.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt support and communication.

Technical Sales & Solution Selling

  • Understand customer technical requirements related to flanges and industrial piping products.
  • Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer applications and project needs.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled accurately.
  • Provide technical information, product specifications, and commercial details to customers.

Order Management & Revenue Generation

  • Prepare and submit quotations and commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed orders and achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor order execution and ensure timely delivery coordination.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Gather market feedback regarding pricing, competitors, customer requirements, and industry trends.
  • Track and report sales activities, client meetings, opportunities, and order status.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and business development activities to management.
Experience Requirements:

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of Field Sales experience.
  • Experience selling industrial products in one or more of the following industries:
    • Flanges
    • Pipes
    • Pipe Fittings
    • Valves
    • Industrial Metals
    • Engineering Products
    • Industrial Components

Language Skills

  • Fluent Gujarati (Mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of Hindi and English.

Industry Knowledge

  • Understanding of industrial sales processes and B2B customer management.
  • Knowledge of industrial procurement and project-based sales cycles.
  • Ability to understand technical product specifications and customer requirements.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with regular travel across Gujarat for customer visits and business development activities.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and personal vehicle is preferred.

  • Self-motivated with a strong field-sales mindset.

Education

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Production Engineering.
