Machine Maintenance Electrician

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and electrical systems.

Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in machinery.

Carry out preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.

Assist in developing and maintaining control wiring systems.

Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems.

Maintain electrical motors and associated control circuits.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

Experience in machinery repair and maintenance.

Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics and fault diagnosis.

Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, timers, contactors, and solenoid systems.

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Experience with single-phase and three-phase AC motor maintenance and troubleshooting.

Understanding of AC/DC medium and high-voltage systems.

Familiarity with relays, UPS systems, breakers, switches, contactors, and electrical distribution networks.

Ability to independently perform preventive maintenance and fault rectification.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and repairs.

Good understanding of industrial electrical systems.

Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
