About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in kiln alignment, on-site grinding activities, and erection of heavy industrial machinery.
The role involves supervising field operations, ensuring precision installation, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and coordinating with clients and contractors to deliver projects safely and on time.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3–6 years of hands-on experience in Cement / DRI kiln operations
Strong understanding of rotary equipment, industrial tolerances, and mechanical fits
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GA layouts
Strong troubleshooting and practical decision-making skills
Good communication and technical reporting abilities
Willingness to travel extensively across PAN India and work at various industrial sites
Preferred Experience
Experience with cement plant equipment such as rotary kilns and mills, or similar heavy industries
Exposure to shutdown maintenance, commissioning activities, or large-scale project execution
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Perform Cold and Hot Kiln Alignment for kilns located in DRI, Cement, and Chemical plants.
Execute on-site grinding operations, including surface corrections, tolerance verification, and post-process inspections.
Lead and support the erection and installation of heavy mechanical components such as rotary kilns, tyres, rollers, gearboxes, and related assemblies.
Conduct dimensional inspections, equipment leveling, and high-accuracy measurements using Total Station, Auto Level, dial gauges, laser alignment tools, and other precision instruments.
Prepare detailed technical reports, alignment records, inspection logs, and project progress documentation.
Coordinate effectively with project managers, contractors, and client teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of site activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and project specifications during mechanical operations.
Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions during commissioning and maintenance activities.
