Job Title: Construction Manager

Role Overview

The Construction Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing high-rise and commercial construction projects, ensuring completion within approved timelines, budgets, and quality and safety standards.

This role oversees on-site operations, manages subcontractors, coordinates with engineers and consultants, and ensures full compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Management

Direct and supervise daily site operations and construction activities.

Develop short-term and long-term site schedules aligned with the master program.

Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.

Identify and resolve on-site technical and operational issues to prevent delays.

2. Quality & Safety Management

Ensure strict adherence to local building codes and statutory regulations.

Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

Implement QA/QC standards and monitor workmanship quality.

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

3. Project Coordination

Coordinate with clients, architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Manage design interfaces and resolve conflicts between civil, structural, and MEP works.

Ensure smooth workflow between different project disciplines.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.

Manage contractual documentation including permits, inspections, and change orders.

5. Cost & Budget Control

Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Optimize material usage and minimize wastage.

Review and certify subcontractor invoices and progress payments.

Support commercial teams in cost forecasting and financial reporting.

Experience Requirements:

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience

10–15+ years of experience in high-rise construction projects (50–60 stories and above).

Proven experience in a managerial role overseeing large-scale commercial or residential towers.

Experience within the UAE and international markets preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong technical expertise in structural and high-rise construction methodologies.

Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Strong understanding of local construction regulations and authority approvals.
