Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for generating and converting ground-mounted solar project leads, achieving regional sales targets, and managing client relationships from lead development to project handover.
Qualification Requirements
BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
MBA preferred
Strong background in solar project sales
Experience Requirements
Total Experience: 5–6 years
Relevant Industry Experience: Minimum 4 years in solar EPC or ground-mounted solar projects
Gender Preference: Male
Age Range: 30 to 40 years
Reporting To: Manager – Sales
Experience Requirements:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Generate quality ground-mounted solar leads and convert them into last-mile opportunities.
Achieve regional order booking targets and margin goals.
Analyze client requirements and propose suitable techno-commercial solutions in collaboration with the Pre-Bid Engineering team.
Lead negotiations and successfully close orders (EPC/PPA).
Manage client relationships throughout the process—from lead development to execution and post-project feedback.
Develop and manage channel partners to support business growth.
Maintain accurate and timely sales data in the ERP system.
Skills & Expertise Required
Self-driven, motivated, and target-focused.
Strong and clear communication skills.
Solid understanding of fundamental engineering concepts.
Ability to work independently and manage travel-based responsibilities.
High energy levels with the ability to perform under pressure.
Knowledge of EPC contracts, PPAs, ground mount, and rooftop solar systems.
Core Competencies
Professional, well-mannered, and presentable.
Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
Strong understanding of solar projects and Solar PV plant operations.
Salary Range
CTC: ₹5.5 – ₹6.0 Lakhs per annum
