Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Crane Service Engineer to handle installation, testing, commissioning, preventive and breakdown maintenance of cranes. The role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, coordinating with sites, managing customer interactions, and preparing service reports.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Installation, testing, and commissioning of various crane types (e.g., SGEOT, DGEOT, Gantry, Jib, Foundry cranes).
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns of hoists and electrical systems.
Coordinate site activities and manage customer interactions.
Prepare service reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and site discipline.
Education & Skills
Educational Qualifications:
Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Electrical troubleshooting and basic crane safety knowledge preferred
Personal Attributes:
Willingness to travel across India
Physically fit and field-oriented
Disciplined, self-driven, and customer-friendly
Communication Skills:
Tamil & English mandatory
Hindi strongly preferred for site work
Key Competencies:
Hands-on experience in crane installation, alignment, and commissioning
Knowledge of wiring, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance
Quick and responsive during breakdown calls
Awareness of foundry environment and site discipline
Strong documentation skills
