Network & IT Infrastructure Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Management & Support

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve all network-related issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, etc.).

Ensure reliable and uninterrupted internet connectivity with minimal downtime.

Maintain up-to-date records of network assets, service providers, and uptime/downtime logs.

2. New Office Setup & Coordination

Attend meetings related to IT and network infrastructure planning for new office setups.

Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors for installation of internet lines, servers, and cabling.

Evaluate hardware, bandwidth, and backup requirements to ensure long-term scalability.

3. Security & Compliance

Implement and manage network security measures including firewalls, access controls, and antivirus systems.

Regularly update security patches to protect against vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

Ensure adherence to IT policies, data security guidelines, and compliance requirements.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, layouts, and access permissions.

Prepare periodic reports on network performance, downtime, and areas for improvement.

Provide inputs during management reviews and contribute to IT planning activities.

5. User Support & Training

Provide timely IT support to employees for connectivity, network access, and device configuration issues.

Train staff on best practices for secure and efficient use of the company’s network.

6. Continuous Improvement

Recommend cost-effective network enhancements and optimization strategies.

Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and security.
