Position Overview
The Deputy Manager – Business Development will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, managing existing accounts, collaborating across departments, and supporting pre-sales and onboarding functions. The role requires a dynamic, communicative, and self-driven individual with experience in solution selling (preferably SaaS / CPaaS / Telecom / IT).
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or related fields)
MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory
(Special preference if focus is in Marketing, Sales, or Business Strategy)
Skills Required
Technical & Functional Skills
Experience in Sales, Pre-sales, or Business Development
Understanding of solution selling (preferably SaaS / CPaaS / Telecom / IT)
Ability to create proposals, SoWs, and solution presentations

Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in Sales / Pre-sales / Business Development
Preferably from: SaaS, CPaaS, Telecom, IT, or other solution-selling industries

Key Responsibilities
Achieve acquisition and revenue targets.
Monitor, manage, and grow revenue from existing clients.
Handle cross-functional duties across Pre-Sales, Sales, Customer Onboarding, and Client Services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Collaborate with Product teams to gather and relay market requirements.
Understand customer needs and translate them into appropriate solutions.
Prepare customer presentations and solution demonstrations.
Prepare detailed Scopes of Work (SoW) and coordinate with Development teams.
Create customized customer proposals based on requirements.
Train field sales teams on key product features and USPs.
Support customer onboarding and provide initial guidance.
Coordinate with internal teams (Service Delivery, Accounts, etc.) to ensure seamless operations.
Conduct interactive product demos for clients.
Act as a communication bridge between clients and internal departments.
