Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

Job Overview:
The Assistant Finance Manager will support the finance department in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with internal controls, and smooth month-end processes. The role requires strong hospitality finance experience, analytical skills, and the ability to supervise accounting staff.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
Manage night audit and income audit processes.
Oversee expense control and cost management activities.
Handle revenue cycle operations and ensure proper documentation.
Perform and review bank reconciliations.
Support and manage month-end closing processes.
Prepare financial statements and management reports on a regular basis.
Systems & Compliance
Work with Opera PMS, MC, and POS systems.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Monitor daily financial operations and resolve discrepancies.
Team Leadership
Supervise accountants and provide training when required.
Support team members in achieving finance department goals.
Ensure timely follow-up on pending financial tasks and issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (mandatory)
Professional certifications or completed modules such as CMA/CPA (advantageous)
Professional Requirements
Minimum 5 years of finance experience in the hospitality industry
Strong understanding of:
Night audit and income audit
Expense and cost control
Revenue management
Bank reconciliation
Month-end closing
Experience preparing financial reports for management
