Job Overview:
The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role requires extensive hospitality industry experience, strong leadership skills, and expertise in financial systems and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Manage P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and hospitality accounting standards.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost control procedures.
Lead internal controls and audit compliance (internal & external).
Experience Requirements:
Operations & Cost Control
Manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory cost control processes.
Oversee CAPEX planning, spend management, and ROI analysis.
Ensure accurate financial documentation and timely reporting.
Systems & Process Management
Utilize PMS, POS, and ERP systems (Opera PMS, MICROS, MC, Sun/LOGO/SAP).
Ensure strong coordination between finance and other operational departments.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a multicultural finance team.
Liaise effectively with senior leadership, ownership, and headquarters.
Support continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (mandatory)
Master’s Degree or MBA (preferred)
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA (strong advantage)
Industry Requirements
8–10 years of overall finance experience
Minimum 3 years in a senior finance leadership role within 5-star hotels or international hospitality brands
Strong knowledge of industry financial systems and audit practices

Salary & Benefits:
