Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Quality Analyst / Test Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing experience, with exposure to automation frameworks being highly desirable. The role includes evaluating digital products, identifying defects, and working closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing for web and mobile applications.
Conduct triage sessions with stakeholders when needed.
Assist in developing and executing automation test scripts for web and mobile platforms.
Documentation & Reporting
Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.
Log and track defects using tools such as Jira or Excel, and communicate issues clearly to stakeholders.
Technical Testing
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to verify compatibility and performance.
Perform performance and load testing to validate scalability, stability, and response times.
Execute API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Assist with basic security testing following OWASP guidelines.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work with product managers, developers, and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Suggest and implement improvements to testing processes and workflows.
Support release cycles using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Primary Skills (Required)
Strong experience in manual testing (functional, regression, UAT, integration).
Hands-on experience with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, Quality Center, or Excel-based).
Experience in mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
Understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
API testing experience using Postman / RestAssured.
Exposure to basic web security testing (OWASP).
Ability to present clear testing metrics and reports to stakeholders.
Secondary Skills (Preferred)
Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.).
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in software testing, specifically for web and mobile applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
