Role Overview
The Software Design Engineer will be responsible for IoT integrations, data connectivity, industrial communication protocols, Python development, and cloud data handling. The role involves building scalable applications that integrate plant-level data with cloud platforms.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Establish communication with data sources using OPC-UA/DA, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Profinet, EtherCAT, MQTT, etc.
Create Vision/Perspective screens and deploy multiple client interfaces.
Configure namespace and enable data transport to cloud systems via IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP, CoAP).
Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable Python code.
Create RESTful APIs, integrate 3rd-party data sources, and serve data to applications.
Work with industrial historians such as GE Proficy Historian, OSI PI, etc.
Education Requirements
BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
Skills & Attributes
Pleasant personality.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and regional language.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
