Role Overview
The Business Development Executive/Manager will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, generating new business opportunities, and building long-term client relationships within the logistics and transportation sector. This role involves achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service support.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition and Lead Generation
Identify potential customers in the shipping and logistics sector through market research and cold calling.
Develop qualified sales leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Convert leads into customers efficiently to drive continuous growth in revenue and profitability.
Explore new markets, business segments, and customer categories to expand market reach.
2. Achieving Sales Targets
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets aligned with business objectives.
Drive revenue by actively pursuing and closing new deals with SMEs and large enterprises.
Track, analyze, and report sales performance to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and address service, billing, or operational issues promptly.
Gather client feedback, identify improvement areas, and suggest enhancements for logistics services.
Desired Candidate Profile
7–8 years of experience in field sales, customer service, customer relationship management, or key account management.
Knowledge of FTL/bulk transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, and courier services is an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
Education
Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
Fresh MBA graduates may apply for Management Trainee roles.
