We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and dynamic Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead business expansion across international, domestic, and institutional markets within the art, antiquities, and collectibles sector. The role requires a strong blend of business development expertise, client relationship management, and deep appreciation for art and cultural heritage.
The CGO will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, establishing global partnerships, and elevating brand presence across diverse sales channels. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify, evaluate, and pursue business opportunities across international, domestic retail, and institutional segments.
Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Research emerging market trends, competitor activity, and potential clientele within the art and handicrafts ecosystem.
Build and expand trade partnerships, dealer networks, and distribution channels.
Global Sales & Client Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas buyers, importers, galleries, and global online platforms.
Manage client portfolios, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Conduct regular client reviews and provide advisory support on valuations, acquisitions, and investments in art and collectibles.
Lead negotiations, proposals, and agreements while ensuring profitability.
Export Operations & Compliance
Oversee export documentation, pricing strategies, logistics coordination, and adherence to global trade regulations.
Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer–seller meets to promote brand presence and product offerings.
Domestic Market Engagement
Strengthen brand visibility through participation in domestic art fairs, exhibitions, and B2B events.
Maintain and nurture relationships with key domestic clients and channel partners.
Sales Planning & Reporting
Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and management performance reports.
Monitor sales pipelines, lead conversions, and market share growth.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely collections and compliance with payment terms.
Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with marketing teams to boost visibility through digital campaigns, catalogues, and brand communication initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Business.
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales/business development within art, handicrafts, galleries, auction houses, or related sectors.
Demonstrated success in high-value sales and managing premium client portfolios.
Strong understanding of art valuation, provenance, global art market trends, international trade norms, and logistics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital marketing.
Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
