About the Role
The ETP/MEE Chemist will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) systems. The role ensures compliance with environmental standards, proper waste management practices, and smooth plant operations.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor ETP and MEE plant processes efficiently.
Conduct regular testing of wastewater, chemical dosing, and maintain treatment parameters.
Maintain records of water quality, chemical consumption, and daily plant readings.
Ensure compliance with pollution control norms and safety guidelines.
Troubleshoot issues related to pumps, blowers, evaporators, and treatment units.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment servicing and repairs.
Manage chemical inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Requirements
Diploma/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
Experience in operating ETP/MEE systems (preferred but can be adjusted based on needs).
Basic knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment processes.
Ability to identify and resolve plant operational issues.
Strong documentation, analytical, and reporting skills.
Willingness to work in shifts if required.
