1. Job Summary
The Sales Engineering Manager will lead the Sales Engineering team, drive technical sales strategies, strengthen client relationships, and ensure customer requirements are translated into effective engineering solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strong customer engagement skills, especially within semiconductor, wafer fab, or automation industries.

2. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Strategy
Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales Engineering team to ensure high performance in customer engagement and technical sales.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Drive revenue growth and market expansion through targeted strategic initiatives.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Oversee the development and maintenance of long-term customer relationships.
Identify new business opportunities and engage with prospective clients.
Act as the primary escalation point for strategic customer inquiries and discussions.
Technical Expertise & Solution Development
Understand customer technical requirements and ensure engineering solutions meet their expectations.
Collaborate with the team to propose improvements, enhancements, and innovative solutions.
Lead technical solution presentations, proposals, and product capability discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, project, and product development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
Participate in strategic meetings to support product modification, customization, or solution alignment.
Sales Performance Management
Track and monitor key performance metrics for the Sales Engineering team.
Prepare and present regular performance and sales activity reports to management.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvement and strategic growth.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
Knowledge
Strong understanding of semiconductor, wafer fab, or automation manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with technical sales processes and solution-based selling.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage).
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight, or equivalent.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
Ability to deliver high-level technical presentations to customers.
Attitude & Behavior

4. Educational Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
5. Experience Requirements
8–10 years of experience in Sales Engineering or a similar role.
Proven background in technical sales, customer interaction, and engineering collaboration.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and testing is highly preferred.
