1. Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project execution, from proposal development to project closeout. This role requires strong technical understanding of automation, semiconductor, wafer fab, or equipment manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.

2. Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including preparing and sharing initial sales/technical proposals.
Review customer purchase orders and ensure alignment with project scope and terms.
Conduct internal and external project phase gate reviews and kick-off meetings.
Outline required human and material resources for the successful execution of each project.
Project Execution & Monitoring
Coordinate and track design, build, and implementation phases.
Maintain continuous communication with customers, including regular status updates.
Conduct frequent project meetings with internal teams and customers, documenting minutes, action items, and decisions.
Monitor project risks, anticipate issues, identify causes, propose solutions, and ensure resolution.
Documentation & Reporting
Create and distribute standard project management deliverables such as:
Daily status updates
Task lists, action items, issues, risks, decisions
Resource plans
Weekly dashboards
Track and document contract changes through Project Change Notifications and maintain revision logs.
Conduct project closeout meetings, capturing key learnings and improvement opportunities.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Negotiate and facilitate resolution among involved parties to maintain focus on project goals.
Occasional national and international travel may be required.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of semiconductor/wafer fab/automation manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of project life cycle phases: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing.
Experience in related fields such as AMHS, ASRS, or system integration is advantageous.
Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and MS Project.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Attitude & Behavior
Proactive, assertive, and capable of driving cross-functional collaboration.
Able to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership presence with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
4. Educational Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 are preferred but not mandatory.
