Job Title: Senior Service Engineer / Service Advisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced, customer-focused, and well-presented Senior Service Engineer / Advisor for a premium automotive service environment.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with luxury automotive brands such as BMW, Volvo, Audi, Mercedes, or similar dealerships.
This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent English communication skills, strong technical knowledge, and a confident professional appearance.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Interaction
Serve as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop team.
Understand customer service requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with a customer-first approach.
Explain maintenance schedules, warranty details, and recommended services.
Conduct test drives with technicians before repair and with customers at delivery.
2. Technical Support
Provide technical guidance to customers, technicians, and internal teams.
Use technical manuals, bulletins, and diagnostic procedures to resolve issues.
Coordinate with engineers and technicians for timely completion of repair work.
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical problems.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and parts used.
Prepare service quotations, invoices, and related documentation using platforms such as Autorox.
Generate reports on service performance, customer feedback, and recurring issues.
Suggest additional repair work when needed.
4. Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with OEM service standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
Perform quality checks on repaired vehicles to ensure workmanship and performance accuracy.
5. Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
Coordinate with procurement to replenish materials as required.
6. Training & Development
Stay updated on advancements in luxury automotive systems and service techniques.
7. Team Collaboration
Work with engineering, technical, and customer service teams to improve service delivery.
Participate in internal meetings and contribute insights on customer handling and service improvement strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Requirement (Mandatory):
3-year full-time Diploma
OR
4-year Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
From a recognized institute.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a service advisor or service engineering role.
Experience with luxury automotive brands (BMW, Volvo, Audi, Mercedes, etc.) is mandatory.
Communication & Presentation:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Customer-facing personality with strong presentation and grooming standards.
Personality Requirements:
Minimum height: 5'9"
Well-groomed, confident, polished appearance suitable for luxury clientele.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.
Analytical skills to diagnose complex technical issues.
Other Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: ₹4,80,000 to ₹9,00,000 LPA + Performance Incentives
Benefits: Monthly salary increment based on performance
Work Details
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday Off)
