Job Title: Controller / Accounting Manager – US Client Accounting
Location: Remote (India-based; preference for Delhi candidates)
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controller / Accounting Manager to support US-based clients with end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be CA or CPA certified, possess strong knowledge of US GAAP, and have experience leading accounting teams. The role involves managing financial reporting, overseeing accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and collaborating directly with US CFOs.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
Manage general accounting, funds management, and bank reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations including invoices, vendor payments, and collections.
Lead month-end closing processes including journal entries, payroll returns, and corporate tax submissions.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Ensure accuracy and adherence to US GAAP.
Support annual audits and compliance requirements.
Systems & Compliance
Work extensively on QuickBooks and other US accounting platforms.
Monitor financial discrepancies and ensure process accuracy.
Maintain high-quality financial records and internal controls.
Client & Team Management
Work directly with US-based CFOs and finance leaders.
Lead, mentor, and manage an accounting team (minimum team leadership experience required).
Ensure timely and error-free service delivery to clients.
Required Qualifications
CA or CPA certification (mandatory).
4–5 years of experience managing an accounting team of 4 or more members.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US accounting practices.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other US accounting tools.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Additional Skills
Understanding of US tax laws and corporate taxation.
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage remote teams efficiently.
