Job Title: Flexcube Functional Consultant
Experience Required: 7 to 30 Years
Job Location: Bangalore / Onsite
Notice Period: Immediate to 60 Days
Role Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Flexcube Functional Consultant with strong domain expertise across Trade Finance, Lending, Payments, and Core Banking modules in FLEXCUBE FCUBS 12.x and 14.x (especially 14.7+). The role involves functional analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and Go-Live support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Functional Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Interact with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements.
Conduct gap analysis, prepare BRD/FRD, solution design documents.
Ensure alignment with business processes for Trade Finance, Lending, and Payments.
2. Day Zero Setup / Configuration
Execute Day Zero configurations, parameterization, and validation for:
OBMA suite
OBPM, OBTF, OBTR, OBCL, ELCM, OBVAM, OBBRN
OBRH configuration exposure preferred
Validate system behavior and functional flows.
3. Functional Testing Ownership
Lead GUI, SIT, UAT, Regression testing.
Design and execute test cases, test scripts, test scenarios.
Manage complete defect lifecycle—logging, tracking, retesting, closure.
4. Customization & Change Request Validation
Validate customization requirements and functional feasibility.
Review FS, test customization, perform certification before deployment.
Prepare functional documentation and provide training to end users.
5. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support
Support migrations, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
Address production issues and coordinate with tech teams for resolution.
Ensure smooth transition and user adoption.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience as Flexcube Functional Consultant.
Strong functional knowledge in:
Experience Requirements:
Trade Finance (LC, BC) – FCUBS 12.x
Oracle Banking Trade Finance (OBTF) – 14.x
Consumer Lending (CL) – 12.x
Payments FT/PC – 12.x
Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) – 14.x
Strong banking domain understanding (Loans, Trade, CASA, Payments).
Hands-on experience preparing:
Test cases & test scripts
Functional Specs
Gap analysis & requirement documents
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work with onsite/offshore teams and adapt to dynamic client requirements.
Good-to-Have:
Exposure to FLEXCUBE 14.x upgrade/migration projects.
Knowledge of Islamic Banking modules.
Experience with workflow-based systems (OBDX, OBRH).
