Job Overview
The Assistant Chef will support the senior culinary team in food preparation and daily kitchen activities. This position requires an understanding of cloud kitchen operations and basic culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support in preparing ingredients, basic cooking, and maintaining kitchen operations
Follow recipe instructions and maintain taste and quality standards
Assist in packaging food orders and ensuring timely dispatch
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen area
Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively
Assist in stock rotation, storage, and inventory support
Coordinate with the Second Chef/Head Chef for smooth operations
Experience Requirements:
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience, preferably in a cloud kitchen
Basic understanding of cloud kitchen setup and workflow
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and basic cooking techniques
Ability to handle pressure and work efficiently during peak times
Good communication and teamwork skills
Education
Graduation (Preferred)
Any relevant culinary course/certification is an advantage
