Job Overview
The Second Chef will support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations within a cloud kitchen environment. This role requires strong technical culinary skills, knowledge of cloud kitchen functioning, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily food preparation and cooking as per standard recipes and quality guidelines
Ensure timely and accurate order execution in a cloud kitchen setup
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
Support in inventory management, portion control, and stock planning
Assist in supervising junior kitchen staff and ensuring smooth operational flow
Maintain cleanliness, food storage standards, and workstation organization
Coordinate effectively with the delivery/operations team
Uphold consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
Experience Requirements:
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in a cloud kitchen or similar environment
Understanding of cloud kitchen workflows, equipment, and order management systems
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food hygiene, and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Good communication skills
Should be disciplined, proactive, and team-oriented
Education
Graduation (Preferred)
Any relevant culinary certification or special course is an added advantage
