Job Title: Chef / Cook / Kitchen Staff

Job Summary:

We are looking for an all-rounder cook to join our street food setup / food cart in BTM Layout, Bangalore. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, maintain hygiene, and have a good understanding of both Indian and fusion cuisines.

Job Type: Contract (3 Months)

Location: BTM Layout, Bangalore
Experience Required: Intermediate
Salary Range: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month
Vacancies: 1
Fresher Considered: Yes (depending on willingness to learn and attitude)

Education Requirements:

Minimum: 10th Pass

Preferred: Certification or short-term course related to cooking

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of street food and fast-food dishes.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen area.

Manage ingredients, ensure food quality, and control wastage.

Support food preparation for Indian, Chinese, and Burmese-style dishes.

Assist with setup and daily operations of the food cart.

Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.

Experience Requirements:

Required Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of Idiyappam, Appam, and Indian-Chinese cuisines.

Experience with western-style fried foods (fries, fried chicken).

Understanding of Indian curries, sauce preparation, and Burmese-style noodles.

Good sense of taste, speed, and food presentation.

Punctual, honest, hygienic, and quick to learn new dishes.

Communication & Language Skills:

Basic English required

Hindi and Kannada (preferred, not mandatory)
