Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal and work-related injuries while collaborating with medical and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based therapy and rehabilitation services for injured workers.
Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning across a range of conditions.
Liaise with other health professionals and stakeholders regarding patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Work independently with minimal supervision while upholding high clinical standards.
Offer clinical supervision or mentorship to junior staff where required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical processes and patient outcomes.
Key Requirements
Registration: Full AHPRA registration and valid professional indemnity/public liability insurance.
SIRA Registration: Must hold a registered SIRA number.
Minimum 1 year of experience in private practice and/or musculoskeletal or work injury management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Understanding of Workers’ Compensation Schemes (basic level).
Completed or willing to complete a Casting and Splinting course.
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.
Confident, approachable, and open to constructive feedback.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (mandatory).
Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy or related specialization (preferred).
Additional certifications in rehabilitation or musculoskeletal therapy (advantageous).
