About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and research-oriented professional to join as a Research & Outreach Associate. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in NGOs, nonprofits, or advocacy organizations, with an interest in creative rights, copyright, and AI-related policy issues. The role involves research, outreach, and support in building partnerships and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
Conduct secondary research on copyright, AI policies, and creative industry rights.
Track and analyze global and Indian developments in AI and creative rights.
Prepare research briefs, reports, and presentations for internal use.
Outreach & Networking
Identify and connect with partner organizations, creative communities, and universities.
Maintain a contact database of potential collaborators and members.
Support efforts to build partnerships and community networks.
Support Activities
Assist in organizing webinars, workshops, and awareness events.
Help prepare communication material for newsletters, campaigns, and social media.
Document meetings, maintain minutes, and coordinate follow-ups.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 1–1.5 years of experience in NGOs, nonprofits, or advocacy organizations.
Education: Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Law, Media, or related fields.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to network and build relationships with stakeholders.
Good organizational and coordination abilities.
Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace and social media tools.
