Primary Responsibilities :
Job Title: Regional Manager – Kolkata, Mumbai & Chennai
Location: Kolkata / Mumbai / Chennai
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Lead the expansion of integrated logistics services, including 3PL (warehousing, distribution, contract logistics) and Freight Forwarding (air & ocean).
Identify, acquire, and manage key clients across FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Pharma, Automotive, and Industrial sectors.
Drive regional P&L performance, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with carriers, transporters, and other industry stakeholders to strengthen market presence.
Operations & Service Excellence
Oversee end-to-end logistics operations (3PL & Forwarding), maintaining high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
Optimize warehouse utilization, transportation networks, and cross-border freight solutions for operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and standards.
Experience Requirements:
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track industry trends, competitor movements, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Contribute to the development of new services, pricing models, and regional expansion strategies.
Represent the organization at industry forums, trade events, and networking platforms to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
15–20 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with strong exposure to 3PL / Contract Logistics; experience in Freight Forwarding is an advantage.
Demonstrated success in business growth, strategic customer acquisition, and large account management.
In-depth understanding of warehousing, distribution, and multimodal transport networks.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multi-location operations.
