Primary Responsibilities :
Position: Technical Manager (2 Openings) – Enzyme Applications in Sugar, Distillery & Grain Industry
Job Summary:
We are seeking technically strong and industry-savvy professionals to develop, promote, and support the application of enzyme-based products in the Sugar, Distillery, and Grain industries. The role involves leading enzyme application development, process optimization, and providing technical expertise to customers and internal teams to enhance product performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Process Optimization
Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials for enzyme applications in Sugar, Distillery, and Grain processing.
Evaluate enzyme performance under different process conditions and identify optimal parameters.
Collaborate with R&D teams for product improvement and formulation development.
Support process scale-up and validation for new enzyme products.
2. Technical Support
Provide technical assistance to production, QA/QC, and R&D teams on enzyme-related operations.
Investigate process deviations or enzyme inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Support customer trials with data analysis and on-site supervision when required.
3. Product Evaluation & Quality
Conduct comparative evaluations of enzyme samples from internal and external sources.
Assist in developing analytical methods for enzyme activity, stability, and performance testing.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and performance records.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Liaise with R&D, production, and quality teams for product scale-up, batch consistency, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with procurement and planning teams for enzyme material evaluation and availability.
Provide technical inputs during new product launches and process transitions.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of enzyme kinetics, fermentation, and biochemical processes.
Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as enzyme assays and spectrophotometry.
Strong data analysis, technical reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Experience Requirements:
Qualification & Experience
Education: B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences discipline.
Experience: 2–4 years in enzyme application, fermentation, process development, or technical service within the enzyme or biotech industry.
Preferred Background: Experience in enzyme formulation, stability testing, and industrial-scale trials.
