Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager experienced in events, exhibitions, and carpentry fabrication projects. The role requires managing project execution from concept to completion—ensuring all deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge, production experience, and strong project coordination abilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Lead and manage end-to-end project production for event structures, exhibition stands, stages, and custom fabrication projects.
Interpret design drawings and convert them into accurate production and installation plans.
Develop detailed project timelines and allocate manpower, materials, and resources efficiently.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all projects.
2. Workshop & Site Management
Supervise daily operations in the carpentry, painting, and fabrication workshops.
Oversee on-site setup, installation, and dismantling activities.
Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and operational standards.
Monitor machinery, tools, and equipment maintenance schedules.
3. Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead and motivate production and site teams including carpenters, painters, fabricators, and installers.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure strong coordination between design, logistics, and operations departments.
Conduct regular meetings to review project timelines and address challenges.
4. Quality Assurance
Perform quality checks throughout the production and installation process.
Ensure all fabrication works match approved drawings and meet client expectations.
Drive continuous improvement in production quality and efficiency.
5. Budgeting & Resource Management
Prepare project budgets, estimates, and material requirements.
Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering and delivery of materials.
Control wastage and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication
Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams during project execution.
Provide technical support and updates throughout all stages of the project.
Conduct site visits, review project progress, and ensure smooth handovers.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Joinery, Event Fabrication, or Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in event production, exhibitions, or custom carpentry fabrication.
Proven ability to manage large-scale event builds or interior fit-out projects.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Fluent in English (Arabic an advantage).
