Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in events fabrication, carpentry, and workshop operations. The role involves managing the entire production process—from interpreting designs and planning materials to fabrication, installation, and final execution. The ideal candidate will ensure top-quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Management
Plan, organize, and oversee complete production workflows for event setups, exhibition stands, stages, and custom carpentry works.
Develop production schedules and ensure all jobs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and operations teams to translate project briefs into practical production solutions.
Allocate manpower and materials efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
2. Technical & Operational Oversight
Lead a team of carpenters, painters, fabricators, electricians, and installers.
Ensure all fabrication works (wood, metal, acrylic, paint, etc.) meet quality and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain workshop tools, machinery, and facilities in optimal condition.
Approve final outputs before dispatch or installation after thorough quality checks.
3. Budgeting & Resource Control
Prepare production cost estimates and manage project budgets.
Optimize resource utilization and reduce material wastage.
Coordinate closely with procurement and inventory teams for material planning and stock control.
4. Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Ensure effective communication between workshop, site, and office teams.
Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to safety regulations.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce compliance with HSE standards and company safety policies.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure safe and organized work environments.
6. Client & Project Support
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
Attend site meetings and provide technical input during the planning and execution phases.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in event production, exhibition fabrication, or carpentry workshop management (GCC experience preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of carpentry materials, finishing, joinery, and set construction.
Hands-on experience with CNC, panel saws, and other workshop machinery is an advantage.
Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and layouts.
Fluent in English (Arabic an advantage).
