Primary Responsibilities :
The Role
As Assistant General Manager – Sales, Marketing & Brand, you will be the face and voice of The House of MG across multiple platforms — connecting the property’s heritage, design, and human touch with audiences in India and around the world.
You will manage the full spectrum of sales and marketing while also ensuring that every customer touchpoint reflects the brand’s ethos and uncompromising quality — from the guest’s first inquiry to their final impression.

Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship Building & Sales Development
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and DMCs.
- Expand corporate and leisure segments through authentic partnerships, not just rate-driven tie-ups.
- Represent The House of MG and Ahmedabad’s heritage tourism narrative at trade fairs, design events, and cultural forums.
- Develop long-term business from FIT, premium boutique travellers, and experiential groups.
2. Marketing, Branding & Storytelling
- Shape and uphold the brand narrative across all channels — digital, print, and on-site.
- Collaborate with PR and media partners to position The House of MG as Ahmedabad’s cultural address.
- Curate campaigns and content that reflect the essence of our heritage, architecture, cuisine, and craft-based retail (The Ahmedabad Trunk, galleries, and experiences).
- Ensure all collaterals, signage, and digital communication adhere to the brand’s tone, design language, and visual standards.
3. Brand & Quality Management
- Oversee brand consistency across guest experience, communication, F&B presentation, and service delivery.
- Collaborate with operations and department heads to ensure product and service quality align with brand promises.
- Lead regular brand audits — signage, uniforms, collaterals, online presence, and review management — ensuring alignment with The House of MG’s identity.
- Develop and maintain brand training modules for front-end teams to embody brand ethos and language.
- Ensure all marketing and guest engagement touchpoints uphold quality, cultural sensitivity, and authenticity.
4. Reservations & Revenue Management
- Supervise reservations operations, pricing strategy, and distribution across OTAs and direct channels.
- Implement yield management and upselling practices that enhance both guest satisfaction and profitability.
- Analyse occupancy patterns, rate performance, and market trends to guide strategic decisions.
5. Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor a small team across sales, reservations, and marketing.
- Work closely with operations, F&B, and experience teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end guest journey.
- Provide monthly insights on sales performance, brand visibility, and customer satisfaction metrics.
