Sr Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts & Compliance: Supervise day-to-day accounting, finalize financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), manage statutory audits, and ensure legal compliance.
• Finance & Treasury: Manage working capital, daily cash flow, fund-raising, banking relationships, and project financing. Ensure optimum utilization of resources and maintain key financial ratios.
• MIS & Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate MIS on cash flow, budgets, stock, debtor/creditor ageing, and competitor pricing. Provide variance analysis with action plans.
• Costing: Oversee production costing process and ensure the cost accuracy
• Taxation: Prepare and file Indirect Tax returns, Income Tax returns, and effectively manage all statutory tax compliances in line with applicable laws.
• Process & Controls: Develop and implement SOPs across departments, strengthen internal controls, and streamline processes for efficiency.
• Commercial & Inventory: Oversee stores and inventory management, ensure ethical and economic use of resources, and support day-to-day commercial activities.
• Business Partnering: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and reports to support management in decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Full / Part professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or CA 
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience manufacturing sector, including at least 2 years in a similar managerial role
• Proficiency in ERP systems is essential (Preferable with Lighthouse ERP)
• High ethical standards with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial data
• Strong integrity, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A team player with excellent communication and quick learning ability.
