Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced South Indian Chef to prepare a wide range of authentic dishes with expertise and creativity. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of regional South Indian cuisines and ensure high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, rasam, and various chutneys.
Ensure consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Manage stock levels and ensure all ingredients are fresh and available.
Innovate and introduce new recipes while maintaining traditional authenticity.
Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Collaborate with management on menu planning, portion control, and cost optimization.
Experience Requirements:
Requirements:
Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of South Indian regional cuisines (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka).
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is an advantage but not mandatory.
