Role Overview
Seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to lead the accounting division. The Chief Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and review quarterly financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
Ensure timely submission of statutory filings and regulatory compliance documents.
Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for smooth audits.
Maintain compliance with applicable listing regulations and guidelines.
Prepare consolidated financial statements for group entities.
Tax Management & Compliance
Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.).
Coordinate tax audits and assessments.
Support tax planning and optimization within legal framework.
Liaise with external tax consultants for complex matters.
Accounting Operations
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations across all business verticals.
Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting.
Oversee real estate project accounting and financial services operations.
Team Leadership & Management
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and integrity.
Develop team capabilities through training programs.
Set performance metrics and monitor productivity.
Strategic Support
Provide financial insights and analysis for decision-making.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating new business opportunities.
Participate in board meetings and present financial reports as required.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
Minimum 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
Experience with listed companies preferred.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in Ind AS, taxation, Companies Act 2013, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel.
Preferred:
Experience in trading, real estate, or financial services sectors.
ERP implementation experience, financial modeling, and due diligence.

High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
