Primary Responsibilities :
Position: Manager – Leasing & Business Development (Retail Mall)
Role Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of lease operations for a retail mall, developing leasing strategies to attract new clients, and negotiating with prospective tenants to maximize revenue in line with business objectives. The role also involves ensuring an optimal tenant mix in alignment with market demand and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end management of the leasing process, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
Conduct research and report on competitive leasing trends and specialty leasing within the region.
Oversee day-to-day leasing operations and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Strategize and implement an ideal brand mix for ongoing and upcoming developments.
Continuously track new domestic and international brand trends and market developments.
Support lease negotiations and deal closures.
Monitor tenant mix to ensure commercial profitability of the property.
Prepare regular reports (weekly/monthly) on leasing activities and performance metrics.
Manage all necessary documentation for leasing, renewals, tenant onboarding, moving out, and renovations.
Oversee preparation of lease agreements, registration, and timely tracking of financial transactions.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or Retail Real Estate.
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail sector leasing.
Strong business acumen and technical knowledge of leasing commercial properties.
Understanding of mall leasing management and tenant mix planning.
Strong financial acumen specific to leasing.
Experience with new-to-market retailers and established regional retail groups.
Knowledge of lease contracts, documentation, clauses, and legal interpretation.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Team player with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Compensation: ₹10 LPA – ₹14 LPA
