Compensation: ₹15,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per annum
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior professional to lead Total Quality Management (TQM) for a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing operation. The role requires designing and implementing a world-class TQM framework to ensure zero-defect products, minimize customer claims, and strengthen supplier quality. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to senior management with weekly visibility at the board level.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust TQM strategy across operations.
Drive first-time-right production to minimize rejections, customer complaints, and wastage.
Enhance supplier quality management for raw materials.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and sales to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.
Institutionalize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
Benchmark operations against global best practices in process-intensive industries.
Build a culture of quality ownership across all levels through training and development.
Present weekly reports, dashboards, and improvement roadmaps to management.
Experience Requirements:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Reduction in customer complaints within 12 months.
Continuous decline in factory rejection rates and rework.
Year-on-year improvement in First Pass Yield (FPY).
Stronger Supplier Quality Index and vendor reliability.
Zero non-conformities in internal and external audits.
Demonstrated cost savings through lean and defect-prevention projects.
Consistency in product performance and customer acceptance.
Increased training hours and workforce capability-building.
Impactful and structured weekly communication with management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Engineering graduate (Mechanical / Industrial / Polymer / Production).
12–15 years of experience in quality leadership, preferably in auto parts, packaging, or other process-intensive sectors.
Certified in TQM / Lean / Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
Proven ability to lead large teams and drive cultural transformation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with boardroom presence.
