Primary Responsibilities :
Position - Polymer Sales (To be determined based on candidate’s experience in the industry)
Job Location - Uganda
Experience: Experience in polymers, specifically handling PP, PE, and PVC
Principal Responsibility:
Expand the Polymers business (PP, PE, and PVC) in the assigned territory – with existing
customers and look for new customer development.
Identify new products within the assigned segments and recommend to management for its
addition with backup data after thorough market mapping.
a) Aggressive Business Development
Achieve Agreed Upon Targets
Create Product/Customer Matrix
b) Tactical – Plastics & Polymers
1. Achieve Distribution Budget - Tonnage, Revenue & Gross Margins.
2. Keep track of customer payments and help in its timely collections.
c) Manage Costs
Keep track of Clearing, Bond, Transport & Warehousing Costs and work towards its
reduction.
Recommend Credit Limits to management & work within the Same on its approval.
Debtors & Stock Reconciliations.
d) Manage Credit Risks :- Operate within assigned Credit Limits & Manage Default Risks
e) Networking within the Business community & Keeping ears to the ground on Opportunities &
business trends.
f) Responsible for Market Research and Analysis
g) Responsible for Customer Visits and submitting the Customer Visit report.
h) Manage and Interpret customer requirements and study about upcoming products.
i) Product knowledge of Polymers (Basic)
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
MBA (Sales & Marketing), Polymer Engineer, Graduate + Polymer PG Diploma
