Live-In Driver & Household Assistant (Butler-Style Support)

Role Summary

The Live-In Driver & Household Assistant will support a private household with driving, household coordination, light butler-style services, and basic technology assistance. This role requires reliability, discretion, and a professional service-oriented approach, while ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the household.

Key Responsibilities

Drive employer to medical appointments, errands, and social engagements.

Maintain and ensure upkeep of assigned vehicles.

Assist in coordinating household maintenance, supplies, and service providers.

Support with light butler duties, such as setting/clearing meals and welcoming guests.

Provide respectful companionship while maintaining professional boundaries.

Assist with technology (smart devices, internet, apps).

Accompany employer on occasional domestic and international travel.

Contract & Location

Contract Duration: Full-time, renewable (long-term role).

Location: Muscat, Oman (with occasional domestic/international travel).

Experience Requirements

Prior experience as a private driver, butler, or household assistant (or similar role).

Familiarity with household management and basic tech support preferred.

Defensive driving or first aid training considered an advantage.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

No post-graduation required.
