Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to head the finance, accounts, and tax functions at our corporate office. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 8–10 years of professional experience, preferably within the agri-industry or dealer/distributor-driven business model.
Requirements
Chartered Accountant with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP and financial systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and advanced Excel skills.
Candidates residing within a 10 km radius preferred.
Prior experience in the agri-industry or dealer/distributor-based model desirable.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Accounts
Lead and manage the accounts & finance team.
Prepare and finalize annual budgets, balance sheets, and business plans.
Review discount schemes for dealers/distributors proposed by the marketing team.
Ensure timely follow-up on receivables and debt recovery cases.
Conduct stock audits and physical verifications at processing plants.
Participate in SAP process improvements, internal controls, and provide cross-departmental support.
2. Banking
Handle import & export documentation, EEFC account utilization.
Manage renewal and maintenance of company’s credit/CC limits with banks.
3. Taxation
Manage income tax, TDS returns, advance tax calculations, assessments, and case handling.
4. Others
Coordinate with branches, department heads, banks, auditors, and vendors.
Prepare MIS reports, presentations, and other data for board meetings.
Ensure compliance with legal and secretarial requirements.
Assist the MD in managing the B2B sales portfolio.
