Primary Responsibilities :

Job Description – Junior IT Officer

Location: Kharadi, Pune
Compensation: ₹2.4 – 3.0 LPA (approx. ₹20,000/month)
Experience: 1–2 years in IT support or related role
Function: IT / Systems Support (Full-time, On-site)

Role Overview

You will be the first line of IT support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across devices, networks, cloud/storage, websites/domains/hosting, email systems, and office productivity tools. The role combines troubleshooting, light administration, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-User Support: Troubleshoot hardware/software issues (Windows/macOS), install/configure applications, maintain IT asset inventory.

  • Network Support: Assist with LAN/Wi-Fi setup, routing/switching, firewall rule checks, IP/DHCP/DNS basics.

  • Email & Collaboration: Manage accounts in Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, enforce security settings, assist with SPF/DKIM/DMARC.

  • Data & Storage: Manage shared folders, permissions, cloud/NAS storage, and backup monitoring.

  • Cloud & Subscriptions: Administer OneDrive/SharePoint/Google Drive, manage SaaS subscriptions/licenses.

  • Website & Domains: Manage DNS records, SSL renewals, backups, uptime checks.

  • Cybersecurity: Ensure patching, antivirus/EDR, MFA, device encryption, incident escalation.

  • Documentation: Maintain IT runbooks, checklists, diagrams, and ticket logs.

  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with ISPs, OEMs, and vendors for support, quotes, and SLAs.


Experience Requirements:

Required Skills

  • Troubleshooting (Windows/macOS, peripherals).

  • Basic networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi).

  • Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace basics.

  • Cloud storage & domain/hosting knowledge.

  • Foundational cybersecurity practices.

  • Clear communication & documentation.

Preferred: Ticketing tools, basic scripting, backup/MDM tools, SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Graduate in IT/CS/Electronics (or equivalent experience).

  • Certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Google Workspace Admin) are a plus.
