Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Couture Tailor / Dressmaker to join a high-end fashion atelier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting bespoke couture garments, interpreting design sketches, performing fittings, and delivering flawless garments to the highest couture standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, cut, sew, and finish bespoke couture garments.

Interpret design sketches in collaboration with the creative team.

Take precise body measurements and draft custom patterns.

Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments.

Cut and construct garments using both hand and machine sewing techniques.

Apply couture-level finishing, including embroidery, beading, and trims.

Conduct client fittings and execute necessary alterations for a perfect fit.

Press and finalize garments to couture standards.

Maintain sewing equipment and organized workspace.

Mentor and support junior tailors and dressmakers.

Ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of pieces.
Experience Required:

4–7 years of experience in haute couture tailoring or luxury dressmaking.

Proven proficiency in pattern making, draping, hand and machine sewing.
-
Experience in luxury fashion or couture houses is strongly preferred.
Contract Type:
Full-time, permanent role with annual contract renewal.

Salary Range:
USD 600 – 1500 per month (depending on skills and experience)
Education Requirements:

Minimum: High school diploma with vocational training in garment construction or tailoring.

Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in fashion design, pattern making, or garment technology.

Special Training: Courses in haute couture techniques, pattern cutting, embroidery, beading, or CAD software are a plus.
