Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role calls for a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales, client management, and market expansion. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the 3PL warehousing, logistics, or supply chain industry

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients across sectors like e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, and distribution.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive repeat business and referrals.

  • Sales Strategy: Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals, focusing on services like storage, inventory management, and distribution.

  • Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare customized proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.

  • Networking & Branding: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to increase brand awareness and establish key connections.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor trends and competitive activities to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular reports on performance, sales activities, and projections.

  • Customer Feedback: Collect and act on client feedback to refine offerings and improve satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies:
