Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceuticals and patient care, and be capable of delivering both technical and advisory services within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, evaluate medication suitability, and provide guidance on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper storage.

Prepare, compound, and dispense medications by calculating, measuring, and mixing ingredients as per physician or dentist prescriptions.

Develop and maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, and labelling pharmaceuticals in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Offer patient-centered services for managing conditions such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, and smoking cessation, including training on the use of health monitoring devices.

Advise patients and customers on medication selection, over-the-counter treatments, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to monitor, review, and optimize drug therapies and regimens.

Analyze prescribing trends to ensure compliance, reduce risks of overuse, and identify potential adverse interactions.

Manage procurement, inventory, and proper storage of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, ensuring availability and quality control.

Mentor and supervise pharmacy interns to support their academic and professional development.

Perform additional administrative tasks as needed, including reporting, documentation, and assistance with operational duties such as banking.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D / M.Pharm).
Valid pharmacy license as per local regulations.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, and dispensing protocols.
Excellent communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and uphold patient safety and confidentiality.
Familiarity with inventory systems and pharmacy software is an advantage.
