Role Overview:
The Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist will support all stages of the sourcing, supply chain, and purchasing process to meet business requirements efficiently. This role demands strong coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of quality materials while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:

Source suppliers based on technical specifications or defined data sheets.

Request and evaluate quotations from multiple vendors, negotiating on price, quantity, and delivery terms.

Coordinate sampling and testing processes with vendors and share feedback for revisions.

Ensure purchased products meet quality standards and technical requirements while maintaining confidentiality and IP protocols.

Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely communication with vendors to address delays or discrepancies.

Foster and manage supplier relationships.

Monitor and manage inventory levels, working with suppliers to reduce stockouts and consolidate shipments to control freight costs.

Maintain precise purchase records, pricing details, and inventory information using procurement systems/software.

Collaborate with internal teams such as Technical, Production, and Finance to streamline procurement processes.

Analyze purchasing trends and data to identify areas for cost-saving or efficiency improvement.

Support daily administrative and office tasks as needed.
