Role Summary
A fully equipped metal fabrication facility—established with over AED 2 million in advanced machinery and finishing capabilities—seeks a dynamic Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager. The position is responsible for managing the entire sales lifecycle: leveraging existing client relationships and developing new business to optimize factory capacity and increase revenue. The role also includes bundling joinery and upholstery services from partner firms to offer full turnkey fitout packages. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a high-impact role that will influence the division’s growth trajectory and future investment decisions.
Candidate Profile

5+ years of B2B sales experience in metal fabrication, architectural metals, or interior fitout

Proven track record of annual sales ≥ USD 1 million

Strong network of architects, contractors, and/or OEM buyers

Ability to read CAD drawings and interpret technical documentation

Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and ERP/CRM systems

Strong negotiation, financial, and communication skills

Willingness to travel 30–40% as needed

Revenue: USD 1–2 million in booked sales in Year 1

Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
Identify and engage architects, contractors, OEMs, and interior designers
Build and maintain a 3-month active prospect list
Attend trade shows, industry events, and client site meetings
Solution Selling & Quotation:
Analyze drawings/BOQs and create commercially viable proposals
Present turnkey solutions integrating metal, wood, and upholstery
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
Commercial Closure & Project Handover:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and margin structures
Secure purchase orders and advance payments
Conduct internal handoff meetings and ensure delivery milestones are met
Account Management & Growth:
Maintain client relationships post-delivery
Drive repeat business and upselling opportunities
Capture and relay market feedback to guide capability enhancements
