Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the efficient and hygienic processing of laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering items such as linens, uniforms, and garments. The role requires maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with safety and hygiene protocols.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold clothes, linens, and uniforms.
Operate laundry machines and treat stains using appropriate methods.
Inspect laundry items for damage or excessive wear and report accordingly.
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
Monitor and manage laundry supplies and inventory.
Follow established procedures for hygiene, safety, and equipment use.
Skills & Competencies:
Working knowledge of laundry machines and cleaning agents.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Physically capable of standing for long hours and lifting heavy loads.
Basic time management and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum educational qualification: 10th Standard.
Language proficiency in Hindi and Marathi (preferred).
Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping is desirable.
