Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead margin-focused trading, drive business expansion, and ensure operational excellence in the agro and food commodities sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, vendor management capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience in agro or food commodity sourcing and sales

  • Proven expertise in negotiation, sourcing, and vendor relationship management

  • Strong organizational skills to handle cross-functional coordination and tight deadlines

  • Solid understanding of logistics, freight, and customs procedures for exports

  • Experience with documentation for trade compliance and client onboarding

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced setup

  • Technologically adept and comfortable working with ERP and digital business tools

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Margin Management:

  • Drive profitability by ensuring positive margins across all trades.

  • Analyze sourcing costs and pricing strategies to maximize average trade margins.

  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and suppliers to improve cost efficiency.

2. Business Development:

  • Increase wallet share from existing clients and onboard new buyers and UAE-based suppliers.

  • Expand the product range and initiate private label or branded product development.

  • Deliver consistent monthly growth by introducing new clients and products.

3. Receivables Management:

  • Enforce adherence to payment terms and follow up diligently on collections.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain cash flow.

  • Establish trust-based relationships to ensure payment compliance.

4. Order Execution & Documentation:

  • Manage the complete order lifecycle with precision in documentation.

  • Ensure all documents (POs, PIs, KYC, credit applications) are in order before trade execution.

  • Maintain strict compliance with operational protocols and risk mitigation measures.

5. Technology & Process Adoption:

  • Utilize internal systems (e.g., ERM, RFQ tools, pricing trackers, task management tools).

  • Ensure 100% compliance with standard operating procedures and timelines.

  • Adapt to evolving processes and contribute to operational efficiency.
