Job Summary:
An experienced Odoo ERP Specialist is required to lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of an integrated Odoo ERP system tailored for real estate development operations. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows from land surveying through to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and map business workflows across surveying, design, procurement, construction, sales, and delivery into an integrated Odoo ERP solution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
Configure, customize, and implement relevant Odoo modules to support real estate and construction operations.
Develop and maintain custom Odoo modules tailored to business-specific processes.
Conduct user training sessions and develop user-friendly manuals for system adoption.
Provide ongoing technical and functional support to all departments.
Integrate Odoo ERP with third-party systems including CAD, surveying, financial, HR, and project planning tools.
Ensure regular system maintenance, upgrades, security compliance, and scalability.
Work alongside cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, project managers, and executives to optimize ERP workflows.
Experience Requirements:
Technical Skills Required:
Odoo-Specific Skills:
Strong knowledge of Odoo architecture (preferably v14 or later).
Proficiency in module configuration, customization, and deployment.
Experience using Odoo Studio for low-code/no-code customizations.
Knowledge of security and user access rights within Odoo.
Programming & Database:
Python (Odoo core development language).
PostgreSQL (including writing advanced SQL queries and performance optimization).
XML & QWeb (for report and UI customization).
JavaScript (for dynamic front-end enhancements).
Integration & APIs:
Experience with REST and XML-RPC APIs for third-party system integration.
Ability to integrate with specialized tools (surveying software, CAD, etc.).
Server & Deployment:
Basic Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian) for ERP deployment and maintenance.
Version control (e.g., Git) for module development lifecycle.
Reporting & Business Intelligence:
Report development using QWeb.
Knowledge of integrating with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) for advanced reporting needs.
General Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementation, customization, and support.
